Alt-pop phenom Lights has announced her 2018 headline tour – one of her biggest to date – bringing her immersive world of pop music and comics to life in over 40 cities across North America. The We Were Here Tour 2018 kicks off on January 30 in Vancouver and will feature opening acts Chase Atlantic and DCF for all dates through March 17, with Dear Rouge and DCF on the later Canadian dates. Lights is touring in support of her just-released fourth studio album Skin&Earth, featuring the anthemic single “Giants” that continues to climb the Hot AC radio chart. Tickets for the We Were Here Tour 2018 will be available starting Friday, November 10 at 10am local time, with artist and radio presale tickets available November 8 and 9, respectively. For more information and to purchase tickets, including limited Red Sector VIP Packages, head to music.iamlights.com/tour/.

The recently-released Skin&Earth serves as Lights’ most ambitious project yet, combining her love for comics and music into an immersive, multimedia experience. Issue 5 in the ongoing comic series written and illustrated entirely by Lights is out tomorrow, November 8, continuing to showcase the world of Skin&Earth that’s already propelled her career to new heights. Lights has received praise from critics including Billboard highlighting “concept albums are nothing new, but it’s the lengths to which Lights takes her fourth album Skin&Earth that sets it apart.” Further acclaim comes from ELLE, Forbes, NYLON, PASTE, Idolator, Alternative Press, Newsweek, and Playboy, who have dubbed Lights a “Real-life musical wonder woman.”

Lights has built an incredibly passionate fan base over the course of her four records, selling out headline tours across North America and Europe, earning 100 million in U.S. streams, more than 200,000 in U.S. album sales, two JUNO Awards, and three Gold album certifications; not to mention the 2 million + rabid fans who follow her every move online. The singer and songwriter has played numerous festivals including Coachella, Reading & Leeds, plus toured with OneRepublic, Tegan & Sara, Paramore, Kaskade, PVRIS and many others.
